Block Tales Chapter 4: Excavation Exploration
Chapter 4—Excavation Exploration (May 31, 2025)—is the desert chapter: Outer Scorched Dunes, Scorched Dunes, Ancient Tomb, Oasis, Pirate Camp, Vermillion Village, Scorched Ruins, Temple of the Red Sun, and Red Sun River. Temple Guardian is the story boss; Firebrand is your sword. Finn McCool waits atop Mount Red Sun for players who want the Aggressor card.
Enemies hit harder and safe zones are farther apart. Buy top food in Vermillion Village (Shawarma, Unadon) before long puzzle stretches. BUX #34 is on the shop roof from the hill behind town; BUX #35 is down the side path past the well.
Ancient Tomb features the rolling boulder chase—take the second right branch to survive, then loop back for secrets. BUX #31 is in the alcove the boulder left behind. Stone-on-plate puzzles follow mural hints.
Scorched Ruins needs Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Last puzzles. Northern rotates columns to match arch symbols (BUX #36 behind the new gate). Eastern moves colored stones into painted recesses (BUX #37 behind the statue fragment). Southern and Last use mural plate orders.
