How to beat Hatred

Reward: Chapter 3 progression

Hatred is Chapter 3’s climax inside Telamon’s Dream World. The fight is famous for both story weight and a dramatic second phase that references Builderman imagery while cranking up damage.

Reach Hatred by clearing Paths A–C (Greed, Solitude, Fear) in any order, then open Path D. Budget items for four serious bosses back-to-back—running dry before Hatred is the #1 wipe cause.

Greed steals TIX, Solitude punishes reckless attacking, Fear is fast with projectile timing. By Hatred you should recognize every defend pattern the Dream World teaches.

Hatred phase one is heavy single-target pressure. After the transformation cutscene, treat it like a new fight: higher damage, new move names. Use the cutscene window to heal or recover SP if the game allows inventory access.

Bring the best defense you own—three Defend+ copies are ideal but not mandatory in Chapter 3. Save Call Cards for phase two if you can. Ghostwalker is your offensive tool here.

Beating Hatred finishes Chapter 3 and unlocks Chapter 4 plus Ghostwalker.
